Events and Programming (Raya)
- Library Quilt Show. Thanks to members who have offered to show their quilts this August. Check for an email with a link to an online form you can fill out with details about your quilt. We will print information cards and hang with each quilt. We will collect quilts at the August meeting. Raya will send out an email with details on adding a hanging sleeve to your quilts. We will hang the quilts on August 16th, from 1-4 PM.
Details on a reception at the Library will be sent soon. We will return quilts at the September meeting.
- Our fabric ice dying workshop was a success. Members who participated showed their fabric samples. We have enough dye to hold another workshop. We will order more fabric, and set another date for late August or September.
- MQG Challenge Quilt. A couple members completed their blocks. Additional fabric packets are available. Deadline for handing in blocks is the September meeting.
- Quilting Bee quilts. Raya asked for and received offers to finish two quilts from the event.
- The Scrap Club will not be meeting in August.

Treasurer (Laurie B) - Everything moving along.
Community Outreach (Carol)
- Carol reported that a quilt made by Lesley was given to the Merrimack Hospice House, who used it as a raffle quilt and raised $400 for the House.

- Fall Retreat. Sarah handed out information sheets with pricing information about the fall retreat. This included the same info sent out in an email. We are going back to the St. Methodios Center. Dates are Thursday, Nov. 5th through Sunday Nov. 8th. If you are planning to attend, please click the link in the email or scan the QR code on the handout or below, and fill out the online form indicating your room option and number of days you will be attending. Mail a check to Sarah or bring it to the August meeting.
