November 2023 Meeting and Raffle

Hello! This month's meeting is scheduled for November 9th. We will be gathering at the First Church in Nashua. Meeting starts at 7, fellowship at 6:30,

  • Quilt Guild position survey:
    • Not volunteering, but showing what is something you are good at/would be OK working on. These are more to gauge people’s preferences throughout the years. Volunteer to be nominated by October, Vote in November; announce in December! On boarding in January. Teams
  • Retreat: 
    • Fall retreat: sign ups went well! May be able to add one more! Please email the guild email if you are still interested. 
    • Spring retreat: Still in the works... Margate resort, Saint Methodius (contoocook NH) If YOU would like to help on this committee for spring retreat, please email us!!!

    • today was the deadline to turn in WIP cards. WIP = Work In Progress. Have to declare ahead of time; can not add or change retroactively. No penalty for incomplete WIPs, but if you finish, you are entered into a raffle!

    • went great! Beautiful area, 9 sign ups, Thank you Simone!!

    • Delivered 32 quilts to foster children; 22 to Sleep In Heavenly Peace; about 10 ready to donate; at least 64 fro, only IN SEPTEMBER! AMAZING
