Good Morning everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. July 4th came and went so fast for me! So here I am last minute getting this out. Just want to touch base on a few things.
The Block exchange- I hope everyone is enjoying it pushing themselves a little. Gets a little harder the more blocks you have (trying to keep them all cohesive). If anyone gets stuck or just needs a little push, feel free to reach out to anyone of us. If you are not able to get to the meeting please make sure you hand them off to someone who will be attending.
Holidays in JULY-
The mug rug swap- We will be doing a mug rug swap at Thursdays meeting. We asked that you create 2 of them. One for the swap and one for a charity. This is not mandatory, only if you would like to participate.
We would also like you to bring your favorite notion to share. We have a lot of new members that might like to know what makes your sewing easier.
Don't forget to be working on your strips we exchanged in May.
At the last meeting we talked about a postcard exchange with Capital District MQG. (CDMQG) They have decided to move it to Sept. with the finished postcard sent in Dec. Summer is just to busy for most people. We will be sending a clip board around to get names and addresses of people that would like to participate. They have about 20 members that want to swap.
