April 2018 Show and Tell

Carolanne -- got her Gypsy Wife fabric and loves it a lot!  Also made very nice tote, and did hand binding for the first time.  Also took hand quilting class with Anne Marie Horner over prior weekend.  Group advised that she should get a thimble!

Julie showed her very first project!  Gorgeous!

Lesley completed the Heather Jones Yield pattern.  Used Angela Waters quilting patterns on the borders with straight-line quilting in the square.

Alexsandra showed carriers, an apron for her mother, something for her granddaughter, and last, not least the flowery shoe bag above!  Busy lady!

Chelsea had a tell regarding Patchwork City blocks -- has 33 squares done!

Sarah, did not piece it but did all of the quilting that shows on the back and bound it, using a sheet as backing.
Ophelia presented quilt from Quilter's Planner and fabric from sale room at Quilted Threads ($3.00)!

Also Sassafras Lane pattern, Lantern Lane.  Been working in it for a long time, and used straight-line quilting.

Third, Posies pattern and with plans to do more on it.  Beautiful.
Pat finished a project at the last retreat.  Very pretty.

Susie showed this yellow charm squares, with minky on the back.  Lovely.

Susie's second is giraffe's.  Lots of oohs and ahhs!  By So Fresh.  Very cute.

Brianna, showed a quilt with large squares, which your photographer failed to capture.
